Secrets Closet
The Secrets Closet was a public art / community activation that was held at an exhibition.
An unused closet was painted black, and using chalk, participants entered the small room alone, closed the curtain, and wrote an anonymous secret. Soon the closet was filled with secrets that were shared, and sometimes validated. It became a space of vulnerability, release and hope.

International Women’s Day @ Calgary Girls Charter School
Employing Collage as a means of protest, Christina Krentz hosted two workshops with the Calgary Girls Charter School for their international women’s day conference. With Grade 5’s & 9’s, We used collage to first explore our inner art monster, discussing the importance of dedicating ourselves to our own interests and passions. With the Grade nine students we used Barbara Kruger as inspiration to create satirical, critical collages that called out misogyny.
